Crafty Monday: How to make a Zipperless Pencil Case!!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! Today's craft is a pencil case that uses the technique of overlapping the edges of the pouch to ensure items stay in the pouch. Here is what you will need:
  • Needle and thread
  • Fabric
  • Scissors
I used fleece because it has a slight give.

Gather your supplies...

Cut a rectangle that has nearly straight edges on the short sides out of your fabric and fold it in half.

Unfold it and fold one side in to the center.

Fold the other end up and over the other flap. Be sure to leave a bit of overhang where the two sides overlap.

Stitch up the sides. Be sure to do neat, clean stitches and be patient.

Flip it right side out.

You now have a cute pencil case!! This could also be used as a wallet or add some ribbon to make a purse!

You don't have to keep pencils in here, you could also keep some hair supplies or little knick-knacks.

Isn't it adorable!! Thanks for reading!!!
