Loft Bed and Disturbing tags!

Hi everyone!! I'm here today to share two things with you- the loft bed that a made and a discovery at Costco. So first... the pictures of the loft bed that I made.

I apologize for the horrible photo quality and bad lighting. Anyways, it was pretty awesome until it collapsed.

Then a few weeks ago I was at Costco and noticed they had the Travel Carrier sets again. And I also noticed they were selling Chocolate Chip individually.

And then I noticed this....

Huge tags coming out of their butts!!! My Coconut and Licorice from around 2007 have no tags, Pepper from Christmas 2011 has a smaller tag, and these huge tags on these pictured here are at least 2 inches long!!!

And it wasn't just  Chocolate Chip!!!
Anyways, I found that to be slightly disturbing. You can always trim the tags, but because of the fur you either end up with a bald spot or an unsightly white tag stub.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend!!!!

P.S. Did anyone else notice that AG added new earrings and discontinued all of the old sets???

  1. If you attach the legs to a base or fasten them together with cross-bracing, you'll be able to support the Zippy and Oreo slumber times. You may only need to brace three of the four sides. If it's the tubes that are collapsing, you can fold/crimp another wrapping paper tube (or paper towel tube) and slip it into each leg. Or perhaps have the legs protrude a bit through the bed. It will help to stabilize the legs. Good luck!

  2. I would have but I was much too lazy and running out of duct tape. I did consider options and at times had legs taped to the wall or floor but the tape always pulled away. The legs and stability were not the only problem with the bed too. Anyways, I am glad I was able to make a new bed that is soo much better than any bed I have previously created. Thanks for the suggestions!!!

  3. Awesome! Love the loft!
Cross bracing would help. You could use rulers or yardsticks as the braces.
Gald to see you writing again. I must catch up now.
