Hi!! As some of you may have heard, I was in a skiing accident and fractured my pelvis. Nothing serious, but enough to keep me on crutches for at least two weeks. With all of the excitement around here I totally forgot about The Weekly Question!!! The results from last week's question...

AG Spring Release!!!

It's what we've all been waiting for!! The AG spring release!! I advise you take a look around their website and check out the catalog- whether it be one you got in the mail, the one on the website, or the one from the app! Keep reading for my personal favorites!!!

The Easy Breezy outfit has a very fun and fresh look with great colors!! I like that it is a halter top and not just another sleeveless shirt. The colors compliment each other, and I really love the whole outfit. I am just unsure about the prints on the shirt. But for the awesome price of $28, it is veryyy tempting!!!

I really like the cycling outfit, especially because my aunt has recently gotten into riding her recumbent tricycle (not a little kid trike, a very high-tech recumbent trike) and has shorts just like this. I am also happy that this is only $28!! Yay!!! The colors are similar to the colors of the running outfit,

and they also remind me of the colors that Lance Armstrong wore. With all of his bad publicity lately it is bad for AG, because he used to be a heroic figure to many people. Oh, and look who is modeling it!!

These are both super cute and I really love the pet trailer, but nooooo, return of the HUGE prices!!!  Otherwise, I am so glad they made a modern bike again and the pet trailer is such a cute accessory.

Sweetheart Skirt Set!

Wow,it has been a long time from the last time I blogged!! Sorry! As Valentines Day is coming up, I wanted to show everyone the retired 2007 Sweetheart Skirt Set. It came with a white sleeveless top with eyelet lace and hot pink ribbon details, a pink skirt with hot pink embroidered flowers, pink crocheted espadrilles, two hot pink heart hair clips, a hot pink purse, and a pink scarf. When I got this at age 7 my favorite part was the pink espadrilles. I received the outfit for Easter one year and almost immediately the stitching that held the shoe straps in a criss-cross shape broke. I was devastated but thankfully my mom sewed it back together. When the other pieces broke in the back she fixed them too. Thanks Mom!! Anyway, I think I only have one original tie remaining. Now for the pictures...

Tea Time With Melody Q!!!

Wow, what a busy week!!! First a big school competition on Saturday, and a huge swim meet today. Sorry for the lack of posting!!! Anyways, I have been following this blog for a while and thought I would focus on it instead of this weeks Saturday Sites. Tea Time With Melody Q is a blog about the life of Melody. Melody is a big tea drinker and also gives good suggestions on teas to drink. (This makes me want to try to make a tea cup for a doll so bad!!)  Melody has many older outfits that are fun to look at and see what AG used to do. Sleep with Style: Pigtails

Hello everyone!!! I will do a post soon with a site that I am currently following. In the meantime, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!! Is anyone having a sleepover tonight if you have tomorrow off from school??? If so, then here are some cute styles that will flatter any doll's face and make her look adorable!!! These styles should work on a doll with any hair length, too!!!

This is the start for all of the styles:

Divide the hair into two even sections, I find it hard to get a good looking part on a doll so I didn't worry about it too much!!

Pull the hair over her shoulder and brush it out so it is even and not all funky!!

Secure with a hairband of some sort, I used clear elastics but anything will do!!! The closer the band is to the head, the tighter the pigtail!!!

Repeat on the other side and style it with your hands to make it look natural!!!

So cute!!! This is what you start with for all of the styles!!

Another option is to section out a small piece of hair, braid it, and add it to the pigtail. Then take out the hairband on the braid and gently separate the braid up to the main hair elastic.

Or braid the pigtail for a classic braided pigtail!!

Cute!!!

The last option is to unbraid the braid...

secure the two that are the farthest away from the face...

do a crown braid on the one section closest to the face and tie it off with a hair elastic... (click here for how to do McKenna's crown braid)

And braid it with the other two sections for a fancier braided pigtail!!!!

Don't worry too much about the part as I find it hard to get it to look good...

Oops... if you are doing a loose braid this may happen, and if it bothers you braid the pigtail tighter. Otherwise, just ignore it!! We all have had bad bed-head!!!

Well, it looks as if Licorice needs just ONE more scratch behind her ear before bed... My favorite style has to be the pigtails with the small braid added in!!

Runaway Pup Part 2!!!

Hello everyone!! I hope everything is going well as we all resume our normal schedules. Ah, the dreaded return of homework has happened!! Noooo!!!!! Anyway, as promised, these are the rest of the screenshots from AG's app, Runaway Pup!!!! (Click here for Runaway Pup part 1!!!!)

 I could see a younger child under the age of 6 LOVING this game. I personally found most of the games boring. It all depends on the age of who is playing it and their likes. I got it because for an American Girl item I will pay $2.99, even if it is a bad app. I would have liked it better had it been free. It is up to you whether or not you like this app, I guess. By the way, my brother has enabled comments on his blog For Lego Lunatics.
