Wow, what a busy week!!! First a big school competition on Saturday, and a huge swim meet today. Sorry for the lack of posting!!! Anyways, I have been following this blog for a while and thought I would focus on it instead of this weeks Saturday Sites. Tea Time With Melody Q is a blog about the life of Melody. Melody is a big tea drinker and also gives good suggestions on teas to drink. (This makes me want to try to make a tea cup for a doll so bad!!) Melody has many older outfits that are fun to look at and see what AG used to do. If you like Doll Diaries Throwback Thursdays then you will love this blog so much. I really enjoy looking at all of the older outfits as well as the newer ones. Be sure to stop by and leave a comment or two. Also, right now if you leave a comment you can suggest an outfit to wear made of different pieces. Click here to visit Tea Time With Melody Q!!! By the way, does anyone want to see the contents of the Marie-Grace treasure tote??? Let me know so I can do a review on that if so. Thanks so much everyone for reading this looong ramble. Bye!!

Sleep with Style: Pigtails
Hello everyone!!! I will do a post soon with a site that I am currently following. In the meantime, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!! Is anyone having a sleepover tonight if you have tomorrow off from school??? If so, then here are some cute styles that will flatter any doll's face and make her look adorable!!! These styles should work on a doll with any hair length, too!!!
This is the start for all of the styles:
This is the start for all of the styles:
Divide the hair into two even sections, I find it hard to get a good looking part on a doll so I didn't worry about it too much!!
Pull the hair over her shoulder and brush it out so it is even and not all funky!!
Secure with a hairband of some sort, I used clear elastics but anything will do!!! The closer the band is to the head, the tighter the pigtail!!!
Repeat on the other side and style it with your hands to make it look natural!!!
So cute!!! This is what you start with for all of the styles!!
Another option is to section out a small piece of hair, braid it, and add it to the pigtail. Then take out the hairband on the braid and gently separate the braid up to the main hair elastic.
Or braid the pigtail for a classic braided pigtail!!
Cute!!!
The last option is to unbraid the braid...
secure the two that are the farthest away from the face...
do a crown braid on the one section closest to the face and tie it off with a hair elastic... (click here for how to do McKenna's crown braid)
And braid it with the other two sections for a fancier braided pigtail!!!!
Don't worry too much about the part as I find it hard to get it to look good...
Oops... if you are doing a loose braid this may happen, and if it bothers you braid the pigtail tighter. Otherwise, just ignore it!! We all have had bad bed-head!!!
Well, it looks as if Licorice needs just ONE more scratch behind her ear before bed... My favorite style has to be the pigtails with the small braid added in!!
Thanks for reading this extremely long post and have fun with these hairstyles!!!

P.S. Thanks to my cool friend Megan for hosting an awesome sleepover last month where I made the owl blanket that serves as my background!!

Runaway Pup Part 2!!!
Hello everyone!! I hope everything is going well as we all resume our normal schedules. Ah, the dreaded return of homework has happened!! Noooo!!!!! Anyway, as promised, these are the rest of the screenshots from AG's app, Runaway Pup!!!! (Click here for Runaway Pup part 1!!!!)
I could see a younger child under the age of 6 LOVING this game. I personally found most of the games boring. It all depends on the age of who is playing it and their likes. I got it because for an American Girl item I will pay $2.99, even if it is a bad app. I would have liked it better had it been free. It is up to you whether or not you like this app, I guess. By the way, my brother has enabled comments on his blog For Lego Lunatics.
Sorry that it took so long to get part 2 up!!!

Winter Break!!
Ugh, don't you feel so sluggish when you are in the last few hours of winter break??? All I feel like doing is nothing, even though I have many more productive options. With the start of school tomorrow means the start of after school activities, and I will try to keep up with everything. I'm sorry for no Saturday Sites this week but Liz at American Girl Fan did a shout-out your doll site yesterday, which I thought made up for no Saturday Sites. Check it out here!!!! Well that's it for today. By the way, I made a messenger bag with two pockets and two colors of felt. Should I do a tutorial??? It is a very easy beginner project that can be made harder depending on what you want. Please leave a comment with your opinion!!! Thanks!!
Bye for now!!

For Lego Lunatics
Hi everyone!! This has nothing to do with dolls but my brother has just started his own blog about Legos. He would be thrilled if he got a lot of page views so please check it out. He would also be enthralled if you left a comment, though I am unsure if he has enabled comments. The link is forlegolunatics.blogspot.com. Thank you so much!! By the way, what do you think about my new blog design???
Thanks!!

Runaway Pup Part 1!!!
Hello everyone!!! Today I got my AG catalog, if you haven't gotten yours yet AG has a free catalog app for iPad that you can get. But the purpose of this post is to give my thoughts on AG's second-newest app, Runaway Pup. It is second-newest to Saige's app, Paint Ponies, which I will not review unless asked to because it is free. Anyway, Runaway Pup is $2.99 which makes it AG's first paid app. Personally it is the worst one they have made so far, but then again it is rated 4+ which I find odd because they have rated all of the MAG stuff 8+. Weird. The game goes like this:
And that was only part one!! So what happens in the pictures I showed you is you start the game and go to the menu of which guide to be. You can replay the guide once you complete the app. You play your first mini game, Guide Gear. Basically you get to choose an outfit. Then the friend that is automatically set for you pops in the text you get. It is the same for every guide, the text Isabel got is virtually the same as the one Emmy got, only the names changed. The text says that your guide is waiting somewhere for the friend, they get a text saying that Pepper is lost, and then the friend shows up, blah, blah, blah. Then you play the second mini game, which is similar to Marisol's game and Saige's horse parade game. Thats all for today!!! Stay tuned for part 2!!!!
